Welcome to Sleepmills (“Sleepmills”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe the rules for using our services, including our creative and educational offerings related to sleep and dreams (the “Services”).
By submitting a form, requesting a service, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using Sleepmills, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
If you are using Sleepmills on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that they also agree to these Terms.
Sleepmills creates and delivers creative, reflective, and educational content related to sleep and dreams. This may include, for example:
Dream-inspired stories, art, images, or audio
Imaginative “bedtime” narratives
Dream-related discussions and reflections
Sleep education content
Sleepmills does not provide:
Medical advice
Mental health or psychological treatment
Diagnosis or treatment of sleep disorders
Nothing we offer is a substitute for professional care from a doctor, therapist, or other licensed provider. If you are in distress or have serious health or mental health concerns, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
By using Sleepmills, you confirm that:
You are legally able to enter into a contract in your location; and
You are using Sleepmills for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
If you are a parent or guardian allowing a minor to use Sleepmills, you are responsible for their use of the Services.
You may interact with Sleepmills through forms, email, messaging platforms, and other tools. You agree that:
The information you provide is accurate and honest.
We may contact you by email or other contact methods you provide to:
Deliver services (session details, links, content, invoices, etc.)
Follow up on requests or clarify information
Send updates and marketing only if you have opted in
You can change your communication preferences by contacting us.
We may offer:
One-off, pay-per-use services
Recurring memberships with monthly service credits
Payments are typically processed through third-party providers such as PayPal or similar (“Payment Processors”). By purchasing, you agree to their terms as well as ours.
Memberships and Subscriptions:
Membership details (price, included credits, renewal period) will be described at the time of purchase (for example, on a PayPal invoice or membership description page).
Unless stated otherwise, memberships renew automatically until you cancel.
You are responsible for managing your subscription directly (e.g., through PayPal) or by contacting us before the next billing date.
Refunds:
Refunds are not guaranteed.
We may handle refunds or credit adjustments on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
If we are unable to deliver a service that you paid for, we will generally offer either a re-delivery or a reasonable alternative such as credits or a partial refund.
For members, Sleepmills may use a credit system. For example, a membership might include a certain number of service requests per month for specific services (such as Dream Insight, Dream Sight, Imagine Story, or Sleep Education).
Unless we clearly say otherwise in writing:
Credits are tied to a specific time period (for example, per month).
Unused credits typically do not roll over into the next period.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Credits are personal to you and cannot be transferred or resold.
Details of your current plan will be described at the time you subscribe and may be summarized in your client profile or invoice.
You may share information with Sleepmills such as:
Dream descriptions
Stories or ideas
Images or audio you submit
Feedback, notes, or other text
Based on what you share, we may create “Rendered Content” for you (for example, stories, artwork, summaries, audio, or other creative output).
You remain the owner of:
Your original dream descriptions and personal information.
We own:
The specific creative formats and outputs we produce (for example, an image or story version we generate), subject to any rights we grant you.
7.1. Permissions You Give Sleepmills
As part of using Sleepmills, you grant us a license to:
Use your submitted content as needed to create and deliver the services you request;
Store and internally reference your submissions to improve your experience (for example, to remember ongoing themes or preferences).
Separately, you will have the opportunity (for example, in our intake form) to choose how we may use your content and rendered outputs in public or semi-public ways:
Private only – we treat it as private and do not share it publicly.
Anonymous sharing – we may share content derived from your submissions, but without your real name, direct identifiers, or handle.
Credited sharing – we may share content and credit you using the name or handle you provide.
We agree to follow the choice you make (and later update, if you contact us) to the best of our ability for future uses. Previously shared content may not always be fully removable from the internet (for example, if a post was already widely shared by others), but we will act reasonably if you request changes going forward.
You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, abusive, or violates someone else’s rights (for example, copyrighted material you don’t have rights to).
You agree that you will not:
Use Sleepmills to engage in unlawful, abusive, or harassing behavior.
Submit content that includes hate speech, explicit illegal activity, or non-consensual personal information about others.
Attempt to disrupt or misuse any technical systems we rely on.
We may refuse or stop work on any request that we believe is inappropriate, unsafe, or violates these Terms.
Sleepmills and its Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or interpretations.
We do not guarantee that any content will be error-free or uninterrupted.
We do not promise that using Sleepmills will improve sleep, dreams, mental health, or any medical condition.
You are responsible for your own decisions and well-being. Always seek professional advice when appropriate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Sleepmills will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services will not exceed the total amount you paid to Sleepmills in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some locations do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you in full.
We may update or change our Services, membership offerings, and these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If you continue to use Sleepmills after changes are posted, you are accepting the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with changes, you should stop using the Services and, if applicable, cancel your membership or subscription.
If you have questions about these Terms, memberships, or your content permissions, you can contact us at:
